About our Board of Directors
Ultimate responsibility for the Center rests with the Board of Directors. These volunteers represent a broad array of interests and talents and include individuals involved in the religious, medical, legal and business communities. Many board members are affiliated with Samaritan Supporting Churches.
The primary duties of the Board are to review and establish policy, provide financial oversight, provide agency governance and evaluate operating results. Board members raise funds for the Center and represent the Center in the community.
Board members are nominated and subsequently elected by a majority of the Board of Directors. They are elected to serve two-year terms and may serve up to three terms.
The Board of Directors meets at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Samaritan Counseling and Growth Center, 245 SE Madison Blvd.
