Lydia Gentges

LPC

Lydia is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over five years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. She specializes in supporting children and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, mood concerns, trauma, behavioral challenges, and family stress.

Lydia primarily uses play therapy when working with children, blending child-centered (non-directive) and directive approaches to help kids express emotions in a way that feels natural and safe. Treatment is tailored to each child’s developmental needs, with parent consultation included to support the parent-child relationship and carry progress beyond the therapy room.

Lydia also provides individual counseling for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, work stress, and relationship challenges. Her approach emphasizes emotional awareness, self-compassion, and individualized care.

She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Oklahoma State University–Tulsa in 2021 and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
